Help! I visited the shops at the weekend and discovered that nearly everywhere was already festooned with Christmas decorations and lights. OK, you may think I’m a little late, but as Christmas becomes more and more commercialised its presence seems to invade our senses earlier and earlier each year. At this rate, we’ll be having Christmas trappings thrust upon us while the children are still on their summer holiday!
Don’t get me wrong – I’m no Scrooge. I love Christmas. But I do think that we have lots of other things to enjoy and celebrate in the months leading up to December. It would be great to be able to ‘live in the moment’ without having to keep our heads down to avoid the onslaught of everything Christmassy when Advent isn’t even upon us.
Having said that, I know from personal experience it can help to give a bit of thought to the festive season in good time. Being organised in advance can help to keep the stress levels down and mean that Christmas can be enjoyed rather than dreaded.
That’s why I’ve put together lots of tips and wrinkles in my new teleclass, ‘6 Steps to a Stress-Free Christmas’. If you want to know the secrets I’ve learnt to reduce stress at Christmas, join me at 7pm on Thursday 23 November. And if you’re a newcomer to teleclasses, no worries! They’re great fun, easy, and, even better, this one’s FREE! All you need is a telephone, a comfy chair and an hour of your time. Sign up now and I’ll send you all the details. And, who knows, this could be your most relaxed, happy Christmas ever!
