Elizabeth Juffs Ltd (trading as Elizabeth Juffs and as Simply Cycling) holds and processes clients’ personal data, including name, contact details, background, goals and notes on the support programme, to enable Elizabeth Juffs Ltd to provide each client with ongoing support.
Elizabeth Juffs Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection purposes and to be kept informed of any changes or updates to data protection requirements. All the data protection processes at Elizabeth Juffs Ltd comply with the requirements of the ICO and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The data may occasionally be shared anonymously with external agencies, only where appropriate or to enable Elizabeth Juffs Ltd to carry out work to the best of its capability. This may include, for instance, within coaching or supervision groups for professional development and quality assurance purposes, or on Elizabeth Juffs Ltd websites and promotional materials for marketing purposes. The data may be shared, if required, by law and for duty of care reasons, to endeavour to keep the individual and/or the public safe.
The data may be kept by Elizabeth Juffs Ltd for as long as required after the end of a programme of work, to allow for an ongoing support relationship with the client. Any personal details kept electronically e.g. on a computer, will be kept within a password-secured area. When any personal data is disposed of, it will be erased in a secure way e.g. secure shredding of any paper-based data, or deletion within a password-protected environment on a computer.
The client has the right to withdraw their consent for their personal data to be kept at any point, by contacting Elizabeth Juffs Ltd. If the personal data is required in order to complete the work with the client, the contract will end, and any outstanding service will terminate. In this case, the company is not required to refund any fees for any outstanding work.
The client may request access to their personal data held by Elizabeth Juffs Ltd at any point. On receipt of such a request, Elizabeth Juffs Ltd will provide a copy (which may be provided electronically) within 28 days. The copy will be sent free of charge unless Elizabeth Juffs Ltd deems the request to be excessive or repetitive.
The client may at any time request that their personal data is transferred to another business to move the support programme.
The client may request for their data to be amended at any time, if it is inaccurate, incomplete or has changed.
If a copy of the personal data is required to comply with a legal obligation or in the public interest, Elizabeth Juffs reserves the right to keep the data, over-riding the client’s request.
The client has the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of their personal data at any point. In the first instance, this complaint should be made to Elizabeth Juffs Ltd. If the client is not satisfied with the response to their complaint, a further complaint may be made to the Association for Coaching at http://www.associationforcoaching.com/pages/membership/supporting-information/ac-complaints-procedure
